Tips for Studying:

1.        Go through your classroom file and take anything out that will help you study

2.        Make a study guide – Cornell Notes of all of the important topics you need to know

3.        Make a set of multiple choice questions. Trade this set with a friend and take each other’s tests.

4.        Try writing a paragraph about a key topic, such as British Colonialism in India, without looking at your notes. Then refer to your notes to see if you forgot anything.

5.        Make flash cards of vocab words, important events, people, etc.

6.        Work with a friend. Test each other on what you need to know. Remember—all of the freshmen will have the same final, so you can work with any freshman (not just the ones in your classes).
