As a final assessment for the revolutions unit, you need to create a timeline that includes the key events, people and ideas from the Enlightenment and the Scientific, Agricultural and Industrial Revolutions. Here’s what you need to do:
To the left of the timeline, before you add any dates, include a description of life before the enlightenment. You may do this in the form of a 3-4 sentence description or it can be an illustration with 1-2 sentence caption. You may choose to discuss political, economic or social life.
Then:
Choose 2 events from each revolution (Enlightenment, Scientific, Agricultural, and Industrial). You should have 8 total events.
Each event must be listed chronologically and must include:

You should include a detailed answer and it should be big and bold at the end of your timeline!

Thomas Hobbes published Leviathan
Hobbes believed that all people are naturally selfish and therefore they need a strong ruler to keep them in check. His social contract was the idea that people should give up some of their rights in exchange for law and order.
Impact: These ideas are the basis for most Western political thought. Socially, people worked hard and willingly gave authority to their government so they could help control society.
